Luck Has Left Stone Motorsports After Paul Was Left At A Rest
Stop On The Way Home From Boone!!!!
Yes it's true Paul was accidentally left at a rest stop for approximately 15 minutes on the way home from
Boone. Luck has not yet made it back. Stone Motorsports put on a good show only missing the main by 1 spot.
Heading home for a run in Tulare for the W S M Nationals when a rest stop would find Paul standing in the
middle of the parking lot watching the Stone Motorsports hauler fade away in the dark. I do believe not a word
was said for 50 miles after he was picked up but that is the end of that.

Tulare was going smooth for us. We made the main on Friday leaving us nothing to do but wait on Saturday.
Looking good and holding off as long as we could Paul started to make his move around lap 20.  Fellow driver
Jim Pettit broke going into turn one.  When one of your worst calls ever would be given by Tulare Officials for
apparently taking Jim out. This putting Stone Motorsports out of that main event.

On to Reno / Fernley where once again we would make the main.  Waiting for the prime moment would find us
in 5th or so.  We're not to sure yet, but we believe hitting an oil spill in turn three during the last laps would
find us spun and finishing 13th or somewhere like that.

All we have left to say, is after a season like we have been having we are hoping that this is not how it is going
to end!!!!!
Stone Wins Ventura for #14 .....  Victory goes 1st & 2nd
8/02/07

After a 2 week break Stone Motorsports went on a road trip to the Ventura Fair race. Arriving late as we always
do the pill draw was closed so that left us starting near the back of the heat race. Keeping the Stone Motorsports
Victory Chassis out of trouble found us in 2nd with 1 lap to go when the leader pushed BADLY going in to turn 3
and opened a door for the heat win.

Starting 10th in the main along side of Victory Family driver Clay Daly was not to bad for a field of 42 entries.
The drop of the green would have us in a hornets nest for the first few laps getting to lap traffic early. We didn't
even realize that we had taken the lead on lap 9 when a caution flew and regroup the field. The last half of this
race had enough yellow flags to make up for the first half and while all that was going on Victory Family member
Clay fought his way to the 2nd spot. Thats how it would end with win #14 at 7 different tracks with Victory Chassis
finishing 1st and 2nd for the second time in 07.

Want to throw out a word to long time friend Jason Pike from Pahrump, Nevada. We are glad to see you back in
the seat after a long absence and recovery from that horrible crash at the Nationals in Boone a few years back.
If you need anything let us know.
